Summary

World is a prose-based messageboard RP, with additional script-based chats on the occasion. That is to say, the vast majority of roleplaying will take place on the World message board, with posts being in a third-person limited format. However, additional threads are extremely welcome, be they in a large, group instant messaging scale, or just a private thread in between two or more players. In these cases, feel free to use whatever format you wish.





Rules

1) Don't be an attention hor. I'm serious. For example, don't just start maiming your characters in the middle of something completely unrelated. We won't stop you, but be assured that we will make horrific fun of you behind your back. And not want to play with you anymore.

2) No godmodding. Specifically situations in which you take direct control of other characters. For surprise!events, you might want to discuss what you want to do with all of the players involved first, just to make sure that they're in agreement with what you want to do.

3) On a related, note, if you are planning something, give the mods a heads up that you'd like said "something" to occur. Nobody likes confusion.

4) If you take place in a private or outside RP with your characters, please post it on the forums or give a log of it to the mods, so that everyone is up to speed with World's happenings. However, if you decide that your RP thread should be kept under wraps for plot purposes (for instance, a secret alliance that will take the others by surprise), then feel free to keep it secret until the event occurs. Just remember to post the log later on when it's more appropriate.

5) While the mods will only try and direct things as need be, do remember that in the end, what they say goes.
